Unlike other countries that have provided support packages in previous years when struggling with the pandemic, in early 2022 Vietnam officially issued a Resolution on the socio-economic development recovery program. With a budget of 350 trillion VND (about 15 billion USD), this is the largest economic recovery and development support package ever.
The support capital will be disbursed in 2022 and 2023, with one third of the budget is for infrastructure development investment, the second group is the agricultural sector, the third group is the primary health care infrastructure, the last one is digital transformation and social security.
Vietnam is one of the few countries that has the opportunity to accelerate and make a breakthrough in the world’s specially difficult time, as the country has the advantages of producing and supplying cheap but good quality food, as well as timely support from the government, creating momentum for businesses, especially those in the export sector, to quickly recover and seize development opportunities after the pandemic and war end.

Khác với các nước đã tung gói hỗ trợ ngay từ các năm trước khi đang phải vật lộn với đại dịch, đầu năm 2022 Việt Nam mới chính thức ban hành Nghị quyết về chương trình phục hồi phát triển KT-XH. Với quy mô 350 nghìn tỷ đồng (khoảng 15 tỉ USD), đây là gói hỗ trợ phục hồi và phát triển kinh tế lớn nhất từ trước đến nay.
Nguồn vốn hỗ trợ sẽ được tập trung giải ngân trong 2 năm 2022 và 2023, với 1/3 ngân sách dành cho đầu tư phát triển cơ sở hạ tầng, nhóm thứ 2 được tập trung là ngành nông nghiệp, nhóm thứ 3 là hạ tầng y tế cơ sở, và nhóm hạ tầng chuyển đổi số và an sinh xã hội.
Việt Nam là một trong số ít quốc gia có các cơ hội để tăng tốc và bứt phá trong thời khắc khó khăn đặc biệt của cả thế giới, khi có lợi thế về sản xuất và cung cấp lương thực – thực phẩm giá rẻ, chất lượng tốt, cũng như có sự hỗ trợ đúng lúc từ chính phủ tạo đà để các doanh nghiệp, đặc biệt là các công ty trong lĩnh vực xuất khẩu, nhanh chóng hồi phục và nắm lấy cơ hội phát triển hậu đại dịch và chiến tranh.
